The peonies and German bearded iris have been lovely this past week.
Trouble with the chickens these days. They are flying over the veggie garden fence and destroying it.
I’m sitting on the patio right now. Laptop on my lap, lemonade to my left, dogs at my feet, chickens picking nearby and my son ‘harvesting’ all the dandelions he can hold.
Asparagus beetles! The adults are munching on the spears and I suspect that, as evidenced by the other activity they are currently participating in, there will be lots of eggs there soon, too.
